The different uses of honey as a beauty product

Honey, a yellowish brown sticky fluid, is produced by honey bees. It is a magical ingredient which has many useful properties. It not only enhances the taste of your food and drinks but also has medicinal values. Not only that, it also acts an excellent beauty treatment ingredient. This is the reason why honey is found in many beauty products that are available in the market nowadays, and you can pick it up from drugstores and even stores that are 24/ emergency fuel suppliers.

You can buy those beauty products from the market or you can also make beauty products at your home. If you apply honey on your skin you will get a glowing complexion and if you use it on your hair you will get shine and volume. Some tips of using honey as a beauty product are given below.

Using honey as a hair conditioner – To keep your hair and scalp clean and healthy you can mix 2 tablespoons of honey in half a cup of water and apply the mixture thoroughly on your hair and scalp. Cover up your hair with a shower cap and leave it for half an hour, after that wash off your hair with shampoo. You can also make mixture of 1 tablespoon honey, lemon juice and a cup of warm water and apply it on your hair as a leave in conditioner after shampooing your hair.

Using honey as a face cleanser - To keep your skin clean from dirt and grime you can use honey as a face cleanser. What you can do is mix honey with milk powder and massage into your skin and then wash it off with warm water.

Using honey as face toner – You can blend a peeled apple and honey together and apply it on your skin for a firm and smooth skin.

Using honey as a moisturizer- You can take pure honey and apply it on your skin. Leave for 15 minutes and then wash off.
