Inside Out
Many people think that caring for the skin is all about buying and applying expensive and branded cosmetics. It’s true that skincare products are capable of bringing in some positive changes to your skin. But skincare products are only able to enter the epidermis layer, which is just the outer layer of the skin. But in order to work your skin from the inside out, in order to get rid of acne, wrinkles or other kinds of blemishes, you would need to eat a good and healthy diet.

In case of wrinkled skin one needs to have foods that are full of antioxidants. One very good and rich source of antioxidants is green tea. Green tea can be effectively used to prevent the harmful effects of the free radicals in the body. 90% of premature ageing is caused due to over exposure to the sunlight; regular intake of green tea will protect your skin from damage from the sun. Two to three cups of green tea a day is healthy.

Carrots are also very good for the skin. You can eat 4 to 5 raw carrots or drink 1 to 2 glass of carrot juice every day. Last week I went to meet a friend to discuss about a new human resource software program. I was meeting her after a while, so was really excited about it. When I finally saw her, I was surprised that all her acne was gone and she had a perfect skin. In fact I used to feel sorry for her, as her face was completely destroyed by acne and this time when I met her I was still feeling sorry, the only difference was that this time I was feeling sorry for myself. When I asked her how she did it, she said there is only one word: Carrots. She said that she has been eating lots and lots of carrot every day and carrots not only helped her to get rid of the acne, but it also helped her to get the glowing complexion.
