Poor Skin – Just Who Is To Blame?

Each and every organ in our body has a protective covering that ensures that no major damage takes place even by accident. The heart is protected by the rib cage. The brain is protected by the skull. The organs in our abdomen are protected by fat and flesh on all sides. However, what protects our skin? It is only when you treat skin as an organ do you realize that it has virtually zero protection from the harsh world we live in. In such a scenario, is it surprising that most individuals complain about the texture of their skin?
Most persons like to think that the skin is negatively affected by pollution and other harmful substances in the air. However, the skin is affected by our own carelessness and casual approach. Many persons develop the habit of using Himalayan crystal salt on the skin because they feel it will help them get a glow.
However, the salt absorbs all moisture from the skin and leaves it dehydrated. Other persons have the tendency of applying heavy makeup just before they go to sleep. This prevents the skin from breathing and it is always dry with a stretchy feeling. In such a scenario, there is no point in blaming pollutants alone. You owe blame for your lack of concern. Even spending an entire day in air conditioning may be bad for your skin because there will be a total loss of moisture.
Before you make excuses for the poor texture of your skin, just analyze your actions and behavior to determine whether you are to blame for the same.
